Maintenance TechnicianThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the hotel is maintained in excellent condition, delivering a safe, comfortable, and visually appealing environment for both guests and team members. This role plays a critical part in the overall guest experience by proactively maintaining guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas, while responding quickly and effectively to maintenance requests.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, furniture, and finishesMaintain all public areas, including the lobby, restaurant, rooftop spaces, fitness center, and exterior grounds, ensuring they meet brand and cleanliness standardsRespond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests with a high level of professionalism and urgencyConduct preventative maintenance programs to extend the life of equipment and reduce unexpected breakdownsTroubleshoot and repair building systems including heating, cooling, electrical, and plumbing systemsAssist with ongoing property improvement projects, renovations, and seasonal preparationsEnsure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards, local codes, and company policiesMaintain organized records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment inspectionsMonitor the condition of the property and proactively identify areas needing attention or repairWork collaboratively with housekeeping and front desk teams to prioritize room readiness and minimize out-of-order roomsQualifications:Previous maintenance experience in a hotel, commercial property, or similar environment preferredWorking knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systemsStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independentlyAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and customer service skillsBasic computer skills for work order systems and communicationAbility to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies as neededWhat We're Looking For:We're seeking someone who takes pride in their work and understands that every detail matters.
